Better Pathways is proud to be the Great British Beer Festival’s Charity of the Year.

Based in Birmingham, Better Pathways is a mental health charity providing dedicated support to people facing barriers to employment due to mental health challenges, learning difficulties, learning disabilities and neurodiverse conditions.

Through tailored support, practical training, skills development, and meaningful work experience, we help individuals progress towards employment, independence, and long-term wellbeing.

Our Social Enterprises

At the heart of Better Pathways are our three thriving social enterprises. These businesses generate income to support our work while providing genuine, hands-on work experience to the people we support.

Better Signage
We provide high-quality external and internal printing and signage for a wide range of businesses. Our team designs, produces and installs everything from safety signs and vehicle graphics to shop signs and large outdoor displays.

Better Packing
We offer contract packing, parts assembly, labelling and rework services for manufacturers, engineering companies, distributors, and retailers. Our trained team handles high-volume projects with care and precision, enabling businesses to outsource labour-intensive tasks while supporting our employment mission.

Better Woodwork
Our woodwork enterprise produces handcrafted wood products, including bespoke signage, furniture, planters, wildlife boxes, pet products and personalised gifts, all made using sustainable materials in a therapeutic environment.

For many of the people we support, accessing and sustaining employment can feel out of reach due to personal or social barriers.
